About
Hi. I’m Roly Morris, a seasoned executive and leadership development coach and Leadership SystemsTM consultant with more than 30 years of senior management experience.
My background includes working with start-up and high growth companies, as well as overseeing maintenance and downsizing operations. As a senior executive, I have had to make decisions under the pressures of rapid expansion and sudden, extreme contraction, resulting in business restructuring.
I have garnered front-line, in-the-weeds, roll-up-your-sleeve knowledge and experience from my wide range of experience across multiple businesses and industries, as well as diverse geographies and countries.
I have earned a positive reputation for my strategic, systemic approach to business optimization, creating dynamic forward-thinking cultures and delivering memorable customer experiences.
Education
Roly has undergone extensive training throughout his career and is evidence of his commitment and passion to life-long learning. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B Comm.) degree from the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor.
He is a graduate of the Director’s Education Program (DEP) at the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto and the Executive Development Program at Queen’s University. Roly holds the ICD.D designation. He has also completed the Family Enterprise Advisor Program (FEA) at the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia. Roly holds the FEA designation.
Roly is a fully Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) in California and a qualified practitioner of The Leadership Circle Profile™, The Leadership Culture Survey™ and The Leadership System™ from the Leadership Circle/Full Circle Group, who developed the Universal Model of Leadership. This model is a globally recognized leadership assessment framework that measures and provides feedback on leadership, and is an extremely reliable pathway for increasing individual and collective leadership effectiveness.
Roly is a member of both the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Institute of Coaching (IOC) organizations.

When not working with clients, Roly likes to walk his two American & Canadian champion Blue Roan English Cocker Spaniels, Suzi and Buster, with his wife Valerie at their home on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia, taking in the beauty of Howe Sound, the North Shore Mountains and Super, Natural British Columbia.
He also enjoys spending time with his daughter, Courtney and son-in-law Jeff, playing with his two grandchildren, Nathan and Hannah, and hanging out with his son Connor. Roly loves sharing big, bold, chewy, jammy red wines with friends who appreciate a great bottle of wine.
Roly has successfully completed five marathons – National Capital (Ottawa, ON), the US Marine Corps (Washington, DC), Pittsburgh, PA, Portland, OR, Vancouver, BC) and was a nationally certified fitness instructor with the YMCA of Canada.
